NYCoS Singing Groups

Dear all,

We are now in the process of delivering taster sessions for the NYCoS singing groups to all P3 classes (and some P5s). if you have not already had yours, you will be getting them soon!

I have had some enquiries from parents who say the link isn’t working in the email that has gone home and I am also finding some children haven’t had forms. Would it be possible to send this message out again to all parents? Thank you.

“Bookings for the National Youth Choir of Scotland Singing groups are now being taken. P3 children will have had or will be having a taster session in school. Please follow the link on the information leaflet that comes home to register BEFORE Tuesday 19th December, or click www.eastlothian.gov.uk/nycos

Choirs are open to all P3-P7 children. If you don’t have a leaflet, please click the link above for all information or contact cmcmillan@eastlothian.gov.uk

Children who are not registered by Dec 19th will need to call 0131 653 5252 in term time only or can try just turning up on the night. Choirs start back week beginning 8th January.”

Thanks all – we won’t turn anyone away who does just turn up to a group without having registered, but we’re trying to encourage registration in advance.
