Stoneyhill’s Parent Council regularly hold fundraising events for the school – every penny raised directly benefits the pupils of Stoneyhill. Please support your school by attending events or donating what and when you can.

Fundraising events for school year 2018/19 was agreed at the first meeting of the school year and we will be discussing updates to that and new ideas at each meeting. New ideas are always needed!

Beetle Drive, 8 November 2018 – there was a packed room at our most recent fundraiser. Great fun had by all and a fantastic £300 was raised. Thank you to everyone for coming out and to all who donated to the raffle and kids chocolate tombola.
Summer Fayre, 19 May 2018 – out biggest fundraiser of the year was a beautiful day and a great success. Much fun was had and we raised £1,500 which will go towards supporting Stoneyhill pupils. Thank you to everyone for coming along and to those who gave up their time to help make it such a success.
Christmas Fun – the parent council supports many of the fun festive activities enjoyed by Stoneyhill pupils, providing the food for class parties, paying for a pantomime company to perform for the whole school, and providing a christmas treat for everyone on the last day of school. To fundraise to provide these, we held a successful Snowman Drive on 16 November, held a raffle for 7 Christmas Hampers and sold 2018 School Calendars. In addition, every pupil made a christmas bauble, which were sold at the school show performance. Thank you very much to everyone who donated and gave up some of their time to make this happen for our children.
The School Summer Fayre took place on 3 June 2017. The sun shone and a great time was had by all, raising approx £2,500 for our school. This year was particularly special as it included an exhibition to celebrate the school’s 20th anniversary. Great feedback received and thank you to all who made the event possible.
Our recent Easter-themed Bunny Drive was great fun and raised over £200 for school funds.
All 2017 school calendars were sold, raising over £1000. Thank you to everyone who bought one and to those involved in creating them.
The Christmas Shopping Evening on Thursday 17 November was a great success: lots of Christmas Cheer with mulled wine, mince pies, a good few Christmas gifts purchased and maybe few treats too. We raised over £200 for school funds, well done everyone
Summer Fayre, Saturday 28 May 2016
The highlight of the school year from a social and fundraising perspective! This year’s Fayre was a great success – we raised money for the school, the sun shone and – most importantly – everyone had a great time.
Thank you to everyone who donated their time, home baking, toys, books or garden supplies. This year, unsold books were donated to Reading is Braw to fill their pop-up libraries; and unsold toys were donated to children from Syria to welcome them to their new homes in East Lothian.
A programme of fun and fundraising events will be agreed by the Parent Council after the AGM on 7 September.
