East Lothian Kinship Care Support Service
Jemma and Sandra would like to introduce themselves and the new East Lothian Kinship Care Support Service which is now taking referrals.
We are family support workers who provide a flexible range of services to support Kinship Care Families; this could involve individual support for children or carers or help kinship carers access services.
Our aim is to provide support to kinship carers so they feel better able to cope with any challenges or changes, to feel less isolated and be confident in their role of looking after children or young people.
We will also hope to start up groups in areas of East Lothian that doesn’t already have a Kinship care group.
