  1. Hi there
I am contacting you with regards a Storytelling Project at the National Museum of Flight at East Fortune that may of be interest to your group, or individuals who are involved with your organisation.
The project will be offering parents and carers free training as storytellers – a unique opportunity to learn new skills in a supportive and fun environment. Further details can be found at the website at – http://www.nms.ac.uk/national-museum-of-flight/discover-the-museum/storytelling-takes-flight/
We hope to get this programme kick started over the next month and it would be fantastic if you were able to circulate this to relevant people in your network who might be interested. We plan to run a series of starter sessions on the following dates/times:
    • Sunday 20 August
    • Sunday 3 September
    • Sunday 10 September
    • Sunday 17 September

    • Times: 1.00 – 4.30pm

The purpose of these sessions will be to give participants a solid introduction and grounding to what the project will involve and hopefully give them a taste of what they can gain from it. After these initial sessions, we will then work with participants to set a schedule for future sessions that will allow them to fully realise their potential and gain a host of new skills.
In addition to this, the Museum of Flight are also running free storytelling sessions for interested groups. These would be up to 45 minutes in length and can accommodate large groups. Times can be arranged for morning or afternoon sessions to suit the groups. Booking enquiries can be made at  heritagestories@hotmail.co.uk or L&Pprojects@nms.ac.uk.
If you require any further information or have any queries, please do feel free to contact me by email or by phone on 07825 758509. Alternatively, you can contact the project manager, Adam Love-Rogers, at 0131 247 4185.

    Many thanks

    Calum
