March 2009

This term we have been busy finding out about Things that Go. We went on a great trip on the train to Edinburgh!  We liked watching the world go by from the train window.  We had time to see the piper on the street.  He played Hickory Dickory Dock for us as well as some lovely Scottish tunes.  On the road we saw lots of big buses!

On Shrove Tuesday we made our own pancakes and had fun pouring, mixing, tossing and eating them!

We have been looking out for signs of Spring whilst on our walks. Here we are smelling daffodils and feeling soft pussy willows.

Its nearly Easter so we made an Easter card by feeling lots of different things and making a collage of our favourites in spring colours.

  1. The train trip looks very exciting going all the way into Waverley Station. The pancakes created a lovely smell throughout the Hub and made us all feel very hungry.
