It seems to have been another very busy term in the Junior class.
We have been finding out about different types of transport and some of us enjoyed a trip on a local bus. We have had fun playing with different vehicles and tried to build vehicles that we could push along the table tops using different construction materials. We also enjoyed trying to travel up and down the dance hall on the roller boards. We used photos to follow a simple map which lead us to some exciting edible treasure!
This term we spent a lot of time tasting various foods and deciding if we ‘like’ the taste or ‘don’t like’ the taste. Sometimes during our tasting sessions we use ‘talking mats’ which is a means of letting other people know what we think about what we tasted and is a good way of recording what we ‘like’ and ‘don’t like’.
We have joined in with the rest of the school for various event such as the whole school read a thon which took place on world book day.
You have had a very busy term. You look as if you have had lots of different tastes to try.
Hi to all at the Hub,
it looks really great. I can’t believe how much everyone has grown up. I worked with Rachel and Emily when they were at Meadowpark, it was a lovely time and i have some lovely memories. Best wishes to all the pupils and staff at the Hub. x
