Ceilidh Chat in the Kindergarten

Much fun was had by all yesterday when Mr and Mrs Macniven visited another school in the Union County District to speak to seven primary 1 classes about Scotland. They learned about where Scotland was and how to get there, they watched ceilidh dancing and made little Scottish puppets, and also listened to Law primary pupils playing the bagpipes and drums which they found really interesting, although one little boy thought it was a little loud and noisy. ┬áTheir favourite part was learning about Mr Macniven`s outfit and especially the sporran, and one wee boy was particularly interested in our different accents and wanted to let us know that he spoke American….
