Our Primary 4-7 pupils performed an amazing version of Cinderella Rockafella this week. The school is so proud of them. Thanks to the staff and parents who made this possible and thank you for the donation of £96.69 that will be used to buy resources for outdoor learning.
Parents, staff and children battled against the weather during our recent Sports Day. We had to abandon the event on the day, but ran the races the following week. Well done Tyne for winning this year’s Sports Day!
What a busy week we had during Health Week. We had many visitors from our local community who provided pupils with lots of activities to keep them healthy. As part of our Health Week we joined together with pupils from the Nursery for our Potted Sports Morning. What great fun we all had.
What a busy ter we have had in our new school garden. The raised beds provided by Sustaining Dunbar have been really effective and the children have loved growing our own vegetables. In fact we have been so successful that we are offering our local community the oppotunity to ‘Pick Your Own’ spinach and rocket.
The whole school had great fun looking for eggs during the Inter-house Easter Egg Maths Challenge. Each egg contained a maths problem which was solved by the pupils and added to the running total. Well done Beil who had the highest score overall.
