Return to School

Please find the letter below from Lesley Brown, Chief Operating Officer, regarding the return to school on August 12th.

Return to school

More information about the specifics of our school will be shared with parents at the start of next week.

We can’t wait to welcome you all back to school! We’ve missed you all and we can’t wait to meet all of the new pupils joining us this year.

School Reports 2019/2020

This year our end of year reports will be sent out digitally in a word document attachment. You will receive your child(ren)’s report(s) this week.

The following protocol for issuing the reports in this way has been approved by the council :                                                                                            You will receive an email in advance to advise of the document being sent, and with a request that you confirm that the email address is valid.                                                                                                                                              Once we receive confirmation we will submit the report. If we do not receive confirmation regarding the email address, we will try to contact you by phone to establish the correct email address.

Return to School August 2020 Survey

Our Headteachers and school staff are currently progressing their plans to welcome children and young people back into school in August. To help us get this as right as we can for children and young people we would appreciate your views. We would be most grateful of you could complete this short survey regarding your child’s return to school in August by Monday 15 June 2020 4pm. Paper copies are available from your school by request.

School Open Monday, March 5th

Message from East Lothian Council

All East Lothian Council schools, nurseries and specialist education provision will re-open tomorrow. We are working closely with providers who transport pupils from more isolated rural areas (outwith towns and villages) to and from our schools. Transport providers will contact parents directly if there are any difficulties collecting pupils from these locations due to road conditions.

—————————————————————————–

We ask for all pupils to enter the school building upon arrival tomorrow morning. The gates open from 8.30am. The conditions of the playground will be assessed in the morning by Mrs Whitford and Mrs Hay.

We are looking forward to welcoming you all back.
