Return to School

Please find the letter below from Lesley Brown, Chief Operating Officer, regarding the return to school on August 12th.

Return to school

More information about the specifics of our school will be shared with parents at the start of next week.

We can’t wait to welcome you all back to school! We’ve missed you all and we can’t wait to meet all of the new pupils joining us this year.

School Reports 2019/2020

This year our end of year reports will be sent out digitally in a word document attachment. You will receive your child(ren)’s report(s) this week.

The following protocol for issuing the reports in this way has been approved by the council :                                                                                            You will receive an email in advance to advise of the document being sent, and with a request that you confirm that the email address is valid.                                                                                                                                              Once we receive confirmation we will submit the report. If we do not receive confirmation regarding the email address, we will try to contact you by phone to establish the correct email address.

Return to School August 2020 Survey

Our Headteachers and school staff are currently progressing their plans to welcome children and young people back into school in August. To help us get this as right as we can for children and young people we would appreciate your views. We would be most grateful of you could complete this short survey regarding your child’s return to school in August by Monday 15 June 2020 4pm. Paper copies are available from your school by request.

Global Day of Action on Climate Change

Global Day of Action on Climate Change – Friday 15th March 2019.
We understand that some pupils may be considering taking part in this global event which includes a rally in Glasgow. We want to support our young people as global citizens to have their voice and to be able to express their views on important matters such as climate change. The safety and wellbeing of our children and young people is of paramount importance to us. We would therefore ask that any pupil in your school who wishes to attend this event first discusses it with their parent or carer before notifying you Head Teacher of the intention to be absent from school on this date. Given that the pupil will not be on school premises at this time, and therefore not the responsibility of school staff, they will be marked as being on unauthorised absence.
