December 2020 – Revised Vision, Values and Aims
We plan to produce a child friendly final version of our vision, values and aims over the course of the next few months. Please see the link below to see where we are in this development.
November 2020 – Our School Values
In a virtual assembly we explored what ‘respect’ means to us and following this each class discussed one other value and talked about what it should look like, might feel like and sound like in our school.
Our new values are:
Friendship & Kindness
Ambition & Perseverance
We have engaged closely with pupils, staff and families to re-shape our vision, values and aims through open consultation in the last few weeks.
Below are the thoughts of pupils and staff on how we envisage our school and what values we consider to be the most important to our relationships. Parents and families completed a survey and shared their thoughts and ideas for our school vision and aims.
After a difficult few months of school closure and online learning we are delighted to be back in school with all of our pupils and staff.
Before the summer holidays we asked our pupils to reflect on their home learning experiences using the four contexts for learning. This provided children and staff with the opportunity to celebrate all of our achievements.
Soon we will be asking all stakeholders to join us on our journey of reviewing our vision, values and aims and creating a new curriculum rationale.
