This month, SQA attended three Local Authority events, where we delivered an update on Quality Assurance, delivery processes for session 2013-14, and e-marking.
SQA also attended three National Parent Forum Scotland (NPFS) Qualifications Plus events, along with representatives from Education Scotland and Scottish Government, where we discussed the new National Qualifications and answered questions on curriculum structures and maintaining national standards.
Friends of West Barns Lottery
Dear Parent/Carer
West Barns Parent Council would like to invite you to join the Friends of West Barns Lottery.
Open to family and friends of the school, the lottery raises valuable funds for the Parent Council’s School Transport Account which subsidises the cost of transport for school trips throughout the year. This allows pupils to participate and benefit from off-site activities. You can complete this form and return it to a member of the Parent Council or hand it in at the school office.

Soup Lunch
A big thank you for coming along to the Soup Lunch following the Easter Assembly. There were some tasty soups and delicious home baking to enjoy along with a cuppa. The children enjoyed the lucky dip and the children’s raffle and there was a fantastic luxury hamper too. All this contributed to a fantastic £300 being raised, so many thanks again.
