Tea, cake and chat!

The Parent Council, together with Mrs Whitford, would like to invite all parents and carers of West Barns children to a pop in session on Friday 11th November from 11.30 am to 12 noon.

Everyone is welcome and the session will be an informal chance for parents to come along and have a chat and ask questions about all sorts of matters relating to the school and the Parent Council.

Harvest Assembly Soup Lunch

The Parent Council will, again, be hosting a soup lunch immediately after the Harvest Assembly on Friday 14th October.  We will be serving delicious, hearty, homemade soups, crusty breads and all sorts of tasty home baking.

Please do join us.  All parents and carers are welcome to come along to the assembly,  starting at 10.30am followed immediately by the soup lunch.

All funds raised will go to support the work of the school.

Roald Dahl Afternoon Tea

To celebrate what would have been Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday, the Parent Council will be hosting an Afternoon Tea on Thursday 15th September, full of fun and tasty treats, inspired by the great man’s most famous characters!

There will be George’s Marvellous Medicine, Oompa Loompa kebabs, Twits bearded crispie cakes and whole host of other goodie on offer.

Children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite Roald Dahl character.
