It’s snow laughing matter all these school closures, road closures and runny noses but once the snow has gone away and the first-footers have left we want to begin 2011 as we mean to go on: with an outstanding programme of free author events for your pupils to enjoy.

Tune-in to watch as the 2005-07 Children’s Laureate Dame Jacqueline Wilson becomes the sixth world class author to take part in Authors Live. This event will be streamed live over the internet and is completely free for you to watch.

Roll up, roll up! Join us in Glasgow to celebrate the Royal Mail Awards with your reading group or class and watch as we unveil the winners as voted for by your pupils.
