The Caledonian Family Of Awards

The Caledonian Family of Awards provide an opportunity for young people and adults with special support needs, to participate in an educational programme which will help them reach their full potential while increasing their self-esteem and independence.  Increasing their self – esteem and community involvement increases their ability to become active integrated members of society and is recognised with a national achievement award.

The achievement awards from the Caledonian Family of Awards are tailor made packages which support education professionals to fulfil the requirements of The Curriculum for Excellence. Each of the Awards promotes independence skills, citizenship, equality of achievement while encouraging creativity and ambition.

The Junior and Standard Awards are open to all young people, aged between 7 – 19 years, within additional support needs schools and young people with increased support needs in mainstream schools.

The Team at the Caledonian Award are looking forward to welcoming back those of you who had young people involved in previous years and would be delighted to welcome groups who are new to the Caledonian Family of Awards.
