Dunbar SciFest is back!

The Parent Council of Dunbar Primary School is organising an amazing weekend-long science festival for families in Edinburgh, the Lothians, the Borders and beyond.

We are building upon the phenomenal success of last year’s first event, where an extraordinary mix of 20 activities attracted over 2,000 visitors during the Sunday afternoon.

This year’s extended programme is fantastic, with 40 event providers delivering an incredible range of science shows, workshops, drop-in sessions, demonstrations and talks.

There are events to suit teenagers and even storytelling for the wee ones. Some of the shows are presented in British Sign Language and all the shows will be BSL/English interpreted.

Dunbar SciFest will take place over the weekend of Saturday, 10th March (10am – 5pm) and Sunday 11th March 2011 (12-5pm) in the John Muir Campus of Dunbar Primary School.

See our website, www.dunbarscifest.org.uk, for the packed programme, directions and travel information. The admission charge is £3 per adult and £2 per child, with Family Tickets (up to 5 kids) for £10 and a weekend Family Ticket for just £15.
