SCA Go Canoeing 2012

On the 29th September 2012 as an SCA approved centre East Lothian Council Outdoor Learning we will be offering some sessions for anyone in the community to try canoeing as part of the SCA Go Canoeing initiative.

Sessions cost £15 per person. No previous experience is required, all equipment will be provided. Adults and children are welcome , with a minimum age of 9 (accompanied by adult).

Go Canoeing is a fantastic way to get active and experience what the great Scottish outdoors has to offer.  The sessions aim to inspire people to explore paddlesports and encourage more people onto the water.   The sessions are suitable for any ability – from complete beginners to experienced paddlers, and are open to adults, children and families. Come along and give paddlesports a go!

You can  book online- and for more details click here. You can  also see details at the Scottish Canoe Association web page, and more information about getting involved in the fastest growing sport in the UK.

Details too on the BBC!
