Primary Outdoor Learning Days 2013/14

The Outdoor Learning Service hosts short sessions (half day or less) at a number of venues throughout the county available to all primary schools. This years Primary Outdoor Learning Days have been very much in demand. Thanks to all again for participating in these successful days.

The dates for 2013/14 session are now available. These free sessions (in addition to normal school allocated days from the service), staffed by Outdoor Learning Teachers are designed to enhance opportunities to deliver the core capacities of the Curriculum for Excellence through Outdoor Learning and provide primary pupils with the basic skills and experiences of a variety of adventurous outdoor activities including; Paddlesport,s Orienteering, Rock Climbing &  Indoor Climbing

Transport:: These days are free to attend with all technical equipment & teaching provided – you just have to get yourself to the venues.
