Come along to our fun event this weekend at Prestongrange Museum

Battle of Prestonpans Family Day
Step back in time to 1745 to join the Jacobite camp as it prepares for the Battle of Prestonpans. Hear the stories, watch the soldiers practise with their weapons and find out how they lived with the Alan Breck Regiment. This year, guns will be fired and weapons drawn as government troops storm the camp! 
There will also be Jacobite arts and crafts for families. Expect loud noises and gunfire!
12pm -?Event begins
12.30pm – Meet the Soldiers talk outside the Visitor Centre
1pm – Jacobites attack Redcoat outpost
2pm – Meet the Soldiers talk outside the Visitor Centre
2.30pm – Redcoats attack Jacobite Camp
All welcome, drop in to take part. Suggested donation £2 per family. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
