Mad Hatters Tea Party Fundraising Event – 28th March 2014

The MS Therapy Centre Lothian is a small, independent charity based in Leith.  Who provide information, therapies and support to people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) across the Lothians, Borders and Fife.  Scotland has the highest incidence of MS in the world, and there is no cure, so it is extremely important that people living with the condition can access local support to cope with its varied and often debilitating symptoms.  We also feel that it is important to raise awareness of MS, and generate support for the centre in the community.

The “Mad Hatters Tea Party” aims to do this in a fun and inclusive way.  We are asking individual supporters, schools, community groups and work places to host tea parties across East Lothian, and invite their guests to wear a silly hat for the MS Therapy Centre Lothian.  Each of our tea party hosts will receive a “Tea Party Kit”, containing cake toppers, collection boxes, balloons, tips, recipe cards and more, to help make their tea party a success.  We can also provide larger scale packs for schools and groups, or multiple packs for individual classrooms.
