Headstart Languages are providing free Tour de France resources to all UK primary school.
The resources are completely free and follow our main character Camembear, a French speaking teddy bear at the Tour de France and give children the opportunity to learn about French culture and language as they follow the route with him. They are power-point based and include many learning games, activities, songs and downloadable resources that give children a headstart in learning French. The resources are aimed at EYFS and KS1 but will also be enjoyed by children in KS2. Please find attached a PDF file outlining the resources.
With languages becoming statutory on the primary curriculum this year and with the arrival of the Tour de France in Yorkshire – this provides an ideal opportunity to kick start learning French in school from a young age. The learning programme has been endorsed by Welcome to Yorkshire who are keen for young children to be learning French from an early age.
To register your school for these resources please click on the CLICK HERE on page 2 which will take you to a form to register your details.
Alternatively you can register your school by completing the online registration form on the Grand Départ page of our website : www.headstartlanguages.co.uk .
