National Museums Scotland are currently developing a new gallery about Ancient Egypt and we’re looking to hear from teachers about what they’d like to see in it.
Teacher’s Ancient Egypt Consultation
- Saturday 31st January
- 10.15am-2.30pm
- National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street, Edinburgh
As part of this event, teachers will meet our Curator and hear about the artefacts and stories that will be featured in the new gallery. They’ll also have a personalised tour by the Curator and have the chance to handle museum objects. Teachers will be asked to bring along some examples of how they study the topic in class and to give their opinion on current plans for the gallery. Teachers will also take part in a number of discussions and ideas sessions throughout the day.
In return for attending, we’ll provide each teacher with resources to take back to class, refreshments and lunch. There are a limited numbers of spaces available on this event. To sign up or for more information, please contact Sarah Cowie, Learning Officer (Schools) on s.cowie@nms.ac.uk
