Tortoise in a Nutshell, the award winning Edinburgh based visual theatre company, presents The Lost Things, an exciting production for children in P5 to P7 this February. Tackling themes of loss, friendship and loneliness, this is an immersive experience that transports them to another world. An accompanying education pack is available.

It’s a world of lost things: car keys, wedding rings, dads, and a mysterious girl who is building an amazing machine.

Performed in a unique dome structure, The Lost Things is about losing things and finding things you didn’t even know you were looking for. This is a dark fairytale set in a fantastical world, where nothing is quite as it seems.

Created by this award winning company with writer Oliver Emanuel, this was originally commissioned by Imaginate and supported through the Scottish Government’s Edinburgh Expo Fund.

The Lost Things is on Wednesday 24 February at 11am and 1.30pm. Schools tickets are £5.25 for East Lothian Council Schools, with one free ticket for teachers per 10 pupils booked.
