P3/4 focussed on the heart this week as part of the human body. We researched, listened to informative videos and read a shared text together to discover more. We used our knowledge to continue to develop our skills in chronological reports
P4/5 Haiku Poems
In P4/5 we are learning about different kinds of poems. This week our focus was Haiku poetry. We had to use our knowledge of syllables to write these poems. We learnt that we have to use 5 syllables for line 1, 7 syllables for line 2 and 5 syllables for line 3. Here is a small sample of the wonderful Haiku’s the children wrote in class.
