Today was a special school assembly. It was ‘Whitecraig’s Got Talent’. The nursery found all the finalist acts amazing and it was great to see our siblings and friends perform.
The Nursery children have been discussing the forthcoming children’s gala day on Saturday 11th June.
We took a walk around the village spotting lots of decorated houses that had flags, banners and the children were identifying their own houses too.
We spoke about safely crossing the roads and being responsible while out on our journey.
P4/5 continued their work on measure this week. We estimated, read scales and used our fraction knowledge to fill our containers. It was very wet but a lot of fun!
The nursery children love to play and learn outdoors and are prepared for all weathers.
Lots of play in the mud kitchen, splashing in muddy puddles, digging holes and filling with water and painting out hands with mud to make muddy hand prints on to paper.
Primary 2 loved trying different fruits and vegetables for our healthy eating topic! We tried mango, kiwi, pear, Sharon fruit, pepper and cucumber! Well done P2 for trying everything!
