This week P2 had lots of fun practising their scooter skills.
P2 numeracy and maths
This week P2 have been building and describing simple arrays. We had to say how many rows and columns were in our arrays.
During maths, we explored the weight of different objects in the classroom. We measured how many cubes each item weighed. We also talked about the language used to describe weight – heavier and lighter.
P2 – Under the sea
This week we started our new topic – Under the Sea!
We have loved exploring the new sea creature toys and playing in our own submarine!
We have done lots of art work inspired by under the sea. We have been particularly working on our cutting skills.
P2 Symmetry Monsters
This week we have been learning about symmetry. We painted one half of our paper then folded it over so that the paint printed on the other side. This created our symmetry monster!
Then we added some eyes to our monsters!
P2 Pirates
This week P2 took an interest in playing pirates in the playground. Miss Queen managed to find lots of pirate toys and costumes to play with. We had lots of fun playing with the pirate ships and acting out some pirate drama!
