Op Art from P6/7
Over the past few days, we have been learning about Op Art and some of the most famous Op Artists.
They have also spent a lot of time and effort creating their own op art image, colouring it and then shading and tinting it. I think their finished op art looks fabulous!
More from P6/7 – A Tetra-tree-dron Challenge
We are trying to make the biggest tetra-tree-dron we can from lots of smaller tetrahedrons. We are getting there but still need to make some more!
A busy last week of term for P6/7
It was Christmas Party time on Monday.
Since then, it has been down to business! P6/7 have been using their literacy, numeracy and design skills to create gas masks.
More to come!
WW2 Air Raid Shelters
This week, P6/7 have been learning how civilians protected themselves during ‘The Blitz’ in World War 2. As part of this, they planned, designed and created an air raid shelter model (their choice) using lots of different materials. I really enjoyed seeing their enthusiasm and creativity and how they problem solved and didn’t give up. I am extremely proud of them!
