The Children have been talking lots about Easter and how they are going to celebrate. Many can’t wait until the Easter bunny arrives to give them chocolate.
We set up fun Easter activities both indoors and outdoors which included different shaped egg puzzles, designing our own Easter egg using craft materials, learning the Easter story and making Easter cards.
This week Mrs Banks, our Equity and Excellence Lead read us a story through Google Meet. It was very good to see her (and her dog, Harley) and we can’t wait until she can visit the nursery soon.

This week we have explored keeping ourselves safe.
We visited the school playground where there were other children were playing at different areas. We spoke about how we would keep ourselves safe by showing good listening “Listening to the teacher” and wearing a high-vis vest “No running away or you might get lost”
We were developing our use on the Play on Pedals balance bikes. We explored why it was important to wear a helmet, avoiding objects/ people and how we look after the bikes.
