Primary 1D have been very busy settling in and enjoying Windygoul Primary school. We have been making new friends in our class and are starting to learn their names.
Each morning, we are learning to say and write a new letter. We are trying hard to write our letters and names in cursive writing. Now we are learning to read 2 and 3 letter words by sounding out and blending, using sounds we know.
Every day we go out with the class for a run in the school grounds. We are working harder to achieve our mile-a-day challenge. This is helping to keep us fit and healthy!
In preparation for beginning French lessons next term, we have been learning to say “Bonjour” each morning.
In class, we earn fuzzies for working hard and following instructions. Ask us how many we earned today!
