Primary One Nativity – It’s A Baby

Primary One are looking forward to performing their Nativity on Thursday 15th December.  We are looking to raffle some hampers on the day of the performance and urgently need donations for the hampers.  If you have anything you can donate please give this to your child’s class teacher as soon as possible.

Primary One have been working very hard on their Nativity – “It’s A Baby” – and are looking forward to performing it to their families.

Thank you very much to all Primary One parents who have bought tickets for the Nativity.  Tickets are selling very quickly so please return your slip and money to your child’s teacher as soon as possible in a named envelope.  We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.

Opening Evening at St David’s High School

Wednesday 9 November 2011 from 6 pm – 8 pm

Primary 5, 6 & 7 pupils and accompanying adults are invited to visit St David’s High School, meet  staff & pupils and hear about life at
the school. This will be an informal event with many displays and activities showcasing the life and work of the school.

Fundraising Group Meeting

Tranent Out of School Club AGM

Tranent Out of School Club will be holding their AGM on 30th November at 7.15pm in the Loch Centre.  The AGM is open to all parents and carers of children who are members of the Out of School Club.  Refreshments will be available following the meeting.

Hopscotch Theatre

We have a visiting theatre company coming to school on Monday 3rd November to perform Loyal Wallace, Royal Bruce to P4-P7 pupils.

Health Week

Health Week will take place between Monday 2nd June and Friday 6th June. Some of the activities taking place include a whole school aerobics session to start off the week and a whole school fun run to finish the week on Friday.  In between, pupils will take part in activities such as dancing, mini kickers, hockey, pilates, body combat, smoothie making, fruit tasting, football and other exciting events.  Please make sure you ask your child all about the activities they have been involved in and hopefully they will come home full of enthusiasm to lead a healthy lifestyle!!

Parent Council – Skittles Night 18th April

The Fundraising group of the Parent Council have organised a Skittles Nights (for adults) at the Tranmare Hotel on Friday 18th April at 7pm. Tickets priced £6, which includes a buffet, are available from members of the Fundraising group. Come along for an evening of fun and laughter, as well as helping to raise money for school funds.
