September 2017

7 hardy souls braved the forecast if not the weather (until early afternoon when the heavens opened) in tackling the sea buckthorn invading the flower rich dune grassland, adjacent to the BBQ site.

Hard work, although made all the easier by frequent swallows passing overhead, no doubt heading south for the winter, and also sandwich terns and a black-threated diver offshore.

The team road tests one of the new picnic benches at Yellowcraig, thoroughly disrupting the installation process.

Thanks to all for the help and see you next month.
