August 2019

There were butterflies galore today as we slowly worked our way westwards, clipping buckthorn and slashing nettles as we went, clearing the footpath for those that followed.

Alongside the peacocks and wall browns which were in abundance, 18 whimbrel flew past at close quarters between the atmospherically active sea and sky-scapes.  while we lunched at Marine Villa rocks.

Berries are starting to ripen and with the wind and low pressure there was certainly a whiff of autumn in the air.

An enjoyable and productive outing, thanks to all again.
