Drake Music Scotland currently run weekly workshops in the five East Lothian hubs for children with ADS, delivering specialised music making workshops and learning using Figurenotes notation, as well as technologies such as iPad, and Soundbeam.

The YMI outcome for this project is:

Young people develop their music and musicmaking skills.

Covid-19 Delivery Arrangements:
Arrangements for working in the five hubs will need to be negotiated individually, depending on practicalities. In addition, DMS are able to offer online workshops for ASN staff, as well as CPD training for mainstream teachers who have pupils with additional support in their classes, or classes with differentiated learning needs, using the Figurenote system. Indoors face to face work is suspended until further notice, but when possible can involve smaller sized groups, physical distancing, and strictly no sharing of instruments.
